Cake & Cookie Strains

"Kush Cookies" by OMY
"An eighth costs thirty bucks." - remember that? OMY's "Kush Cookies" is a tasty, relaxing Indica-dominant Hybrid strain that reminds us of the good old days: when potency did not always dictate price. The smell is rich, dank, pungent and gassy - the steamy, white plumes of minty cool, creamy smoke it produces are remeniscent of a Rockstar Kush x Girl Scout Cookies - creeping up your entire body moments (sometimes minutes after) after inhalation. The only thing this flower could potentially lose points for is their initial "shake-test"/bag appeal, as the buds are small, rock-hard and tightly formed - before expanding upon grinding into an emerald green pile of frosty, sugary goodness. The effects are well-balanced, but as previously mentioned leans moreso on the Indica direction; could be sedative for some, coming in north of 20% and really meaning it. These gassy little buds pack a BIG punch. At it's super fair price, it certainly didn't hang around on the shelf too long the first time we carried it (in fact, it sold out in a day!), be sure to get your hands on it the next time it's available as supplies are limited.
"Space Cake" by Delta 9
Doughy indica hybrid. It's different. Smaller-sized buds that look like little space nuggets, purple as can be when busted up. I would explain the flavor as dough-y, even flour-y, not much for acidic fruitiness or spice in this one, it's decidedly alkaline: moss, mushrooms, gasoline. At 18.6%, it may not exactly "do the trick" for all, but I believe there are some 21% buds that don't hold a candle to this one. Be advised that she is an Indica hybrid, but she may reveal weird sneaky sativa characteristics. Definitely not a one-trick-pony.

"L.A. Kush Cake" by Natural History
A cross between Kush Mints and Wedding Cake that certainly takes after its parents. Tightly structured, purple-shaded buds, dusted with crystals. Everything you would expect from the name, this one will certainly appeal to those that enjoy dessert-strain varieties and some of the modern, less spicy/savory/earthy varieties of Kush. I catch a deep (but subtle scent) of Bubba-esque perfume and vanilla under a layer of flour. Producing rich white plumes of smooth, cool, kushy smoke; this one is sure to win the hearts of Indica lovers that still appreciate something a little easier on the lungs than an 8Ball or an Afghan Kush and strains that are decidedly "non-acidic" in their terpene profile.
